Allisen’s experience with the girls at Camp Nature Woods wasn’t that great to begin with. All of her cabin mates were annoying, and Allisen was starting to feel pretty homesick after eight days with them!
Then she met Lindie, and the two of them hit it off immediately. Lindie liked a lot of the same things Allisen liked. She was fun to hang around with. Spending time with Lindie helped Allisen not feel as homesick anymore, because now she had a friend to share her experiences with. Have you ever met someone somewhere who you just clicked with immediately? Sometimes you don’t have to know someone for a long time to become friends with them. And sometimes long-distance friends can be the best friends of all. |
