Writing poems is like writing song lyrics, but in a way it's easier because a poem doesn't have to conform to a specific structure to fit with a tune. I've written many poems over the years, of all different topics and genres. In 2014, my brother and I published a book of our poetry called Desserted Island, which is available on Amazon.
