Just Because He's a Boy And I'm A Girl...

Well, first of all, there’s the boy-girl friendship thing again, where Kim tells Allisen that she thinks Jack likes her (“her” meaning Allisen), and Allisen writes in her journal, “Just because Jack’s a boy and I’m a girl and we’re friends doesn’t mean he automatically ‘likes’ me.” Again, insinuations that you should date one of your guy friends or that you and your guy friend like each other can be annoying. But keep your cool, stay calm, and keep on telling them the truth. If they aren’t getting the reactions they want (blushing, freaking out, giggling, arguing, or anything else to confirm what they said), they’ll eventually leave you alone.
