In Book #18, “Happy Hearts”, Kim has a huge crush on Stivre. Allisen and Shevea, who aren’t quite at the stage where they’re interested in boys yet, find Kim’s behavior around Stivre very strange. Kim is ecstatic when Stivre calls her by name in the hallway. Later, she starts making an anonymous valentine for him. Eventually, he asks her to the dance, and it’s when she calls Allisen with the exciting news that Allisen finally realizes the reason Kim has been acting so weird. Stivre ends up asking Kim to be his girlfriend later that month, and then kissing her at the end-of-school dance in June. Kim is over the moon. Have you ever felt that way about anyone?
