Lindie

Sometimes you’ll meet someone somewhere and just click with them immediately. That’s what happened when Allisen met Lindie at camp. They had so much fun together, and they decided they didn’t want to lose each other’s friendship after they each went home, so they kept in touch. In Book #19, “Friends Forever”, Allisen says that “Lindie is someone else who I would probably consider a best friend of mine if we got to see each other more often.” Well, they don’t get to see each other very often, but when they do see each other, they have a lot of fun.
If you’re away somewhere—at camp, on vacation, at a friend’s party, at a sports game, wherever—and you meet someone who you get along really well with, ask for their contact information. Even if they live far away from you, you can keep in touch through calling, texting, emailing, writing letters, and/or social media! It’s kind of fun having friends all around the country (and friends who live in different countries!) And keeping in touch will open up the possibility that you’ll be able to see them again if you’re ever in the same area. |
